How much does it cost to hire a DJ in South Wales?
The range of fees is as wide as the number of DJs! Bear in mind you pay for experience not just kit. We start from £375 for 2 hours daytime, through to over £1000 for an all day and evening wedding service. We always provide clear pricing and excellent value for money, with no hidden extras.
What’s included when you hire a DJ from us?
Every booking includes an experienced professional DJ, high-quality sound and lighting equipment, full set-up and pack-down, and Public Liability Insurance. We include access to our online planning system and the opportunity to meet us virtually before the day too. All equipment is PAT tested, and we tailor the music and setup to suit your event.
Can we choose the music for our event?
Yes—absolutely. You’ll have access to a private online area where you can submit your favourite songs in advance. We recommend choosing your top must-play tracks (up to 15), and our DJs will read the crowd and build the perfect playlist on the night. We can also take requests on the night.
Do you hire equipment?
Yes we do. We can hire lighting, outdoor games and a simple Bluetooth speaker and radio mics. We don’t hire out the vital tools of our trade- decks and speakers as we can’t risk being without them if something went wrong.
How far do you travel for events?
We’re based in Cardiff and regularly cover South Wales and the South West of England. We’re also happy to travel further afield—just note that a small travel fee may apply for venues more than 40 miles away.
How long does a DJ play for?
Most packages include around 5 hours of performance time, plus setup and pack-down. If you need more time, we can extend this—either in advance or on the day, depending on availability.
Do you provide equipment as well as a DJ?
Yes. All DJ bookings include professional sound and lighting. We also offer additional equipment hire such as uplighting, UV lighting, and special effects to enhance your event.
Are you insured and compliant with venue requirements?
Yes. We carry full Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is PAT tested. We can provide all necessary documentation for venues, including risk assessments if required.
What types of events do you cover?
We provide DJs for a wide range of events including weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, school proms, and private functions. Each event is tailored to suit your audience and atmosphere.
How far in advance should I book a DJ?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak dates like weekends and weddings. However, if your event is coming up soon, it’s always worth contacting us—we will do our best to help. If we are unavailable we can direct you to other experienced DJs we trust.
Can you provide a DJ for corporate events or awards nights?
Yes. We regularly work with corporate clients and can provide not just a DJ, but also sound systems, microphones, staging, and compere services for presentations and awards.
Do you offer wedding DJ services?
Yes—we have a dedicated wedding DJ service, and even a separate website for weddings. We can cover everything from ceremony music through to the evening party.
What size venues can you cater for?
We can cater for everything from small private parties to large venues with 200+ guests. Our packages scale depending on your requirements.
